As the second stage in our professional three-step compounding system, Car-Chem Medium Cut Compound bridges the gap between aggressive cutting and final polishing. Developed by our team of experts, this advanced formula features intelligent diminishing abrasive technology that adapts as you work-delivering controlled, progressive refinement for exceptionally smooth results. This means the particles of abrasive start off large, getting smaller the more you work with them. In effect lowering the cutting power over time. It also contains the highest grade of fillers and kaolin clays to help refine, restore and cleanse the vehicle's paintwork.
Car-Chem Medium Cut Compound is designed as a refining stage of polishing. It will help to even out the deeper cuts of our Heavy Cut Compound in preparation for our Light Cut Compound.
Usage Instructions:
- (Hand Application): Apply 2-5 pea sized amounts of compound to a clean, lint-free microfibre or a foam applicator pad.
- Using light pressure; spread the compound onto the vehicle's paintwork, working in small areas (50cm x 50cm) using an up/down and left/right lattice pattern for optimal coverage.
- Allow the compound to dry to a haze.
- Buff off with a clean, lint-free microfibre.
- (Machine Application): Apply 2-5 pea sized amounts of compound to a light foam polishing pad.
- Using light pressure and the lowest speed setting; spread the compound onto the vehicle's paintwork.
- Work in small areas (50cm x 50cm) using an overlapping up/down and left/right lattice pattern for optimal coverage.
- Increase the speed setting to a maximum of 1000RPM and continue to work the compound into the paintwork until the polish becomes clear.
- Allow the compound to dry to a haze.
- Buff off with a clean, lint free microfibre.
